Studio Offerings

  • Our Reformer classes deliver an athletic, contemporary Pilates experience that challenges the body through controlled resistance, precision, and intelligent progression. Each class is designed to leave you feeling longer, stronger, and lit up from the inside out.

  • Our On the Mat programming brings Pilates to the floor, intentionally weaving in functional movement, heavier weights, and dance- and yoga-inspired movement.

These signature classes each carry their own distinct energy—Strength empowers the body and sharpens the mind, Unison ignites rhythm and vitality, and Move on the Mat integrates emotion and cultivates motivation through strong, expressive movement.

Our Approach

At Assembly Movement, we focus on goals and effectiveness. We’re not a studio driven by music or matching sets — we’re a team dedicated to helping you move better and feel stronger. Our approach grounded in Pilates and built around functional movement for the modern world. To us, that means developing optimal range of motion, strength, breath patterns, and spinal mobility.

Each class is designed with a clear physical or mental well-being objective, and together, they create a balanced program that helps you move better, feel better, and live better.

Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled in, and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move with ease.

Grip socks are required for our reformer classes due to safety and hygiene during class. Regular socks are too slippery and can’t be used as a substitute. Grip socks are available for purchase at our front desk.

  • Please book online prior to class. You may book classes and buy packages/memberships on our app by searching "Assembly Movement" in the App Store OR you can book on our website.

  • We have a minimum 10-hour cancellation policy and do not offer exceptions.
Please make cancellations via our app or website; we do not process cancellations by phone, email, or direct message.

  • Out of respect and safety of our community members, classes start on time and we encourage you to arrive before we begin to avoid interruption. We have a strict lock door policy at the start of class.

If you have any concerns, email us at hello@assemblymovement.ca to discuss your options.

  • We encourage you to leave your phone in a locker, however, we do understand the need to be connected. If you bring your phone into class please have it on silent.

To respect others privacy, we do not allow recording in group classes. If you are a content creator, please email us on hello@assemblymovement.ca to discuss your options.

Assembly founder, Pilates instructor, and all-around movement lover Clio has been teaching Pilates since earning her full certification from Breathe Education in Melbourne, Australia, in 2015. A former gymnast, Clio was drawn to how reformer and mat Pilates allowed her to move dynamically yet with control. Over time, she noticed remarkable improvements in her strength, flexibility, and overall well-being, and she wanted to share that same feeling with others.

Assembly Movement opened its doors in March 2023, during a time when the world was ready to reconnect. After years of isolation, people were craving community, movement, and a sense of belonging. Clio envisioned a space where that reconnection could happen — a place where people could move together, feel stronger together, and find balance through challenging the body and steadying the mind.

The name Assembly reflects that vision: a community built on connection, positivity, and the shared joy of movement.
