FAQ

  • Let's start with reformer Pilates, the constant resistance of the reformer allows you to gain long, lean muscles. It does so without straining your body and allows you to stay in the optimal anatomical position.

    Likewise, mat Pilates allows you to gain, strength, flexibility, tone and agility. Our classes offer a combination of cardio, strength and flexibility exercises.

    Also, we have fun!

  • HECK YES. We welcome anyone to join. We suggest that if you are new to Pilates you begin with our foundations class to get comfortable.

  • Heck Yes - we welcome you and can provide modifications where needed. Please try to attend the Foundations class or a BYO Baby Class. If your schedule does not allow you to attend those classes please be sure to email us in advance before you attend a Body or Power class so that we can accommodate you.

  • Babies are welcome to join us for our BYO baby classes.

  • We do not offer refunds. If you need assistance please email us at hello@assemblymovement.ca

  • We are on the second floor of 832 College Street in Toronto.

  • Okay so like most places in downtown TO parking is not amazing. Here is the breakdown for all class times:

    Before 7:00AM - Free Parking on the EAST side of Ossington Avenue.

    7:00-9:00AM - Paid parking on the NORTH side of College Street (both east and west of Ossington).

    9:00AM-4:00PM - Free Parking on the EAST side of Ossington Avenue.

    4:00-6:00 - Paid Parking on the SOUTH side of College Street.

    After 6:00PM - Free Parking on the EAST side of Ossington Avenue.

    There is also a paid Parking Lot in front of the Metro at Shaw x Ossington. Please allow a 3 minute walk to the studio if you park here.

    Otherwise, there are many side streets that you might get lucky with!

  • Please bring a water bottle as we do not sell them. If you need a towel please bring one along. We also suggest bringing grippy socks because feet can become slippery when sweaty BUT it is not mandatory.

  • Yes we have many introductory offers available.

  • We require 10 hours notice to cancel a class.

    Class Packages and Single Class Package: Your class will be forfeited.

    Unlimited Memberships: You will be subject to the following fees:

    $10 Late Cancellation Fee

    $15 No Show Fee

    Introductory Two Week Offer:

    $10 Late Cancellation Fee

    $15 No Show Fee

    If the charges are not paid all future classes booked online will be terminated until payment is made.

    ** Please be advised that we have a 5 minute grace period. If you are more than 5 minutes late your spot may be given to a waiting client. Doors will be locked 5 minutes after a class begins.

  • Please cancel classes by logging into Mindbody and going to you schedule. You should see an option to early or late cancel to the right side of the booked class.
